The teams taking part in the game
The Fellowship Game is designed to enhance the friendship between the alumni associations of Chinese universities in Vancouver with the culture and spirits of golf games and raise fund for the strategy of improving programs for the young and popularizing Chinese culture advocated by Great Vancouver Chinese Culture Center.
The Game was titled and sponsored by “Aikang Capital”, which is established by Beijing Aikang Group in China and led by Doctor Wang Dong, Chairman of Alumni Association of Tsinghua, Peking University, Northeastern University and Huazhong University of Science and Technology, with LP investment from the school mates of various universities. In recent years, Aikang Capital has been investing and managing five funds of commercial real estate amounting to five hundred million Canada dollars in total and the investment income is impressive.

On the second Vancouver Chinese Alumni Association Golf Fellowship Game held on July 4, 2017, the schoolmates from 25 renowned Chinese universities (including the universities in Mainland China, Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan) took part in the game, including 124 players from 17 teams. Team of Suzhou University Alumni Association won team championship, silver medal winner was team Institutes of Technology of South China and the third winner was Alumni Association Team of China Agricultural University.
At the award presentation meeting of the third Vancouver Chinese Alumni Association Golf Fellowship Game, Dr. Wang dong gave an inspiring speech and introduced that the funds managed by Aikang Capital were proposed to gather the strength of Chinese schoolmates and share the significant profit in real estate value rise in Vancouver. At present, the Group has achieved the proud investment performance which can’t be reached by the teams in China. In addition, Doctor Wang Dong disclosed that the next investment strategy of Aikang is related to rest nursing homes and medical technologies and investments to a few projects will be completed within this year.
